Build a robust PPM governance to ensure profitability and competitiveness of your portfolio

This Strategic Project and Portfolio Management conference edition brings in a new perspective on how to turn cultural barriers into an advantage, effectively link strategy to the execution, drive transparency on project delivery and risks.

Based on the expert case studies and interactive discussions, you will learn how to enable profitability and competitiveness of your portfolio, how to provide strategic framework and methodologies to support quality decision-making as well as how to leverage cross-functional programme management to ensure collaboration and strategic execution.

István Görgei will be representing the Capture Group with an interesting presentation: "Revolutionizing Corporate Strategy and Operations: Navigating the Friction with Strategic Portfolio Management and Hybrid Project Management" and covering topics such as:

  • How to eliminate friction between top-level strategy and operations
  • Clarify hierarchies and dependencies about labor resources and budget with hybrid project management
  • Create transparency on project management, scaled agile product management, and service management

“As a business leader with over a decade of experience, I have held various positions that involved business development, management, and product marketing. Currently, I serve as the Director of Business Development for Capture Group's ServiceNow Business Unit in Switzerland. In my role, I represent the company's offerings on Strategy Portfolio Management and manage partnerships to distribute consultancy projects for our current customer base (40+) and future clients.  I also worked as a Solution Architect, Consultant, and Educator, where I gained extensive knowledge in demand management, project management, resource management, financial management, and strategic portfolio management.

I’m also very experienced with tooling support of those functional elements. As an educator, I have also contributed pro bono to the Corvinus University of Budapest, providing Project Portfolio Management lectures and seminars about available PPM methods, trends, and IT tools.”
