SPM - EA

SPM leverages ITSM data, such as incident trends, change volumes, and service performance, to prioritize and fund demands and projects that improve service quality and efficiency. ITSM - ITOM

IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) integrate to ensure seamless service delivery through proactive infrastructure monitoring and responsive support. ITOM provides ITSM with real-time visibility into the health, availability, and performance of services and infrastructure components via discovery, event management, and CMDB enrichment. In return, ITSM enables incident, problem, and change workflows that respond to and remediate ITOM-detected issues. They create a closed-loop system that improves service reliability, reduces downtime, and supports root cause analysis.

ITOM - ITAM

IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) integrate to deliver end-to-end visibility and control over Configuration Items and IT assets throughout their lifecycle. ITOM, through discovery and service mapping, feeds accurate and real-time configuration data into ITAM, ensuring the asset repository reflects the actual state of the infrastructure. In return, ITAM provides ITOM with critical asset details such as ownership, lifecycle status, finance-related information, and contractual obligations to support operational decisions and compliance. This integration enhances governance, optimizes asset utilization, and reduces risks related to shadow IT and untracked assets.

ITAM - EA

IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Enterprise Architecture (EA) integrate to ensure that technology assets align with architectural standards and strategic business goals. ITAM provides EA with detailed, accurate data on hardware and software assets, including lifecycle status, usage, and cost, enabling architects to make informed decisions about technology standardization and rationalization. In return, EA defines the target architecture and approved technologies, guiding ITAM in procurement, compliance, and decommissioning processes. This collaboration improves technology governance, reduces redundancy, and supports strategic planning across the IT landscape.
